With over 20 years of experience in the agricultural and equestrian sector, Jeroen van Eerd started developing the ideal electric compact tractor back in 2018, Together with the right people who shared his passion for technology and one of Asia's largest tractor manufacturers & a leading European electric power train supplier Benevelli, a vision became reality and the Knegt versatile battery electric compact tractor was created in 2020 that is capable of any job that a standard diesel tractor can do.

This was the beginning of Knegt Quality Tractors Europe zero emission journey

The Knegt Electric Tractor was initially developed for the equestrian sector, due to the fact mostly they worked in indoor arenas & menages and were completely emission free and when you’re working with horses it has massive benefits to the animals and the owners, the combination of a small turning circle, high lifting capacity and its comprehensive range of equipment, demand soon came from other sectors such as horticulture, forestry, horticulture, leisure and sports facilities and this is where GGM groundscare had the vision and strongly believed that there is a market here in the UK for just a tractor
